Can somone help me with this
This is a Brinly single row planter i got from a guy, id like to know if its worth anything. My dad looked at it and he said its missing the wheel on the front for the fertilizer the rest of it is in great shape. Ill post better pics as soon as i can.

Those things are hard to find. Another member on here sold one not too long ago, but I cannot remember what he was asking for it.

Thanks for the help! From the picture it looks like its all there i just dont have that rod thats attached to the hitch thats stickin out the side like in the pic

It's just a planting gauge. I have never seen one on others either. Most people end up taking the fertilizer tank off anyway and just use the seed bin. Those things look awesome all cleaned up and painted. You might do some searching on here. I know there are pictures of some that have been re done.

The planter
That rod sticking out to the side is to mark the next row. Let it down when you are going down a row and it plows a small furrow for the next trip down the row. I have a Gardenway Push planter that has one of those. With the push planter its hard to maneuver it all. It would work ok with the unit being pulled behind a tractor.
Looks like you got a good find there. They sure save your back when you plant low rows of vegetable crops, beans, corn, etc. Dave

yeah id like to use it at least once but i dont have a whole lot of land to be planting stuff in, i couldnt beat what i paid for it though
