Default New to the forum

Hi, My name is Mark and I am new to the forum. I have owned an 1811 for about 11 years. She's faded and a little rusty, but still runs strong (although she's a little hard to start sometimes.) I bought her from a blueberry farmer in central MA who used her to mow between the rows of blueberry bushes. She was faded when I bought her, so I think she was left outside uncovered. Anyway I use her now in RI for mowing the lawn, plowing the drive and hauling firewood.

Default Need some pointers

Thanks for the welcome messages. Can someone give me a few tips on how to best reply to comments? I posted a topic in the attachments forum and have several helpful replies. Is it best to reply individually or in fewer general posts? Do I use the Quick Post option, or the reply button? Don't have much experience with these types of forums, so not sure exactly how to navigate. Thanks. Mark

Mark I prefer to use the qoute button if I'm responding to certain question. Instead of making several post I'll use the multi-qoute button. Not responding to a someone reply or quick reply works.

Sorry if that sounds clear as mud.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
