Default A SUPER 50th Birthday

Let's just say my Big 50 was a bit dissapointing so I had to take matters into my own hands. I picked up a 2072 with a 60 inch Haban tonight. Pictures will follow tommorrow. I can't wait for the sun to come up tommorrow morning so I can look out the bedroom window and see it sitting there next to the 682. It is a real beast, that deck weighs a friggin ton!

If Bill (the seller) is reading this, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

Haven't had a chance to get the Haban back on; it would not fit on the trailer when mounted to the tractor. The deck is in better shape than it looks. To me, these tractors have great lines, whaddya all think? And, it seems that chicks really dig em'

Not sure which, if any, of these are options, maybe you all could tell me:

1) Rear PTO shaft
2) Dual Brakes
3) Front Hydraulics

Thanks for the Birthday wishes, it turned out to be pretty good.

The first series in 87 had he Onan engine then in 88 & 89 they went to Kohler engines. The rear pto was an option but it should also have the cat 0 three point with it. The dual brakes and front ports were standard. Nice tractor ya got. Happy B-Day.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
