Default I got the 782

Well after much deliberation I went and got the 782. Don't feel to bad Joe it's pretty ruff. The rear fenders are junk, it's missing the hood ornament, and CCC emblem for the grill. It does have a cast iron rear end in it though, and everything is there for the dual hydro. The rest of the tins are in nice shape just don't have much paint on them. He gave me a set of atv tires and an extra set of rear rims with it, and he had a folder full of manuals for it, so that's a plus. And he had a spare pump for it to. I'm not complaining for what I gave him, it will make a nice tractor. I was thinking about putting the hydro stuff in the 1282, but now I think I'll bring it back to life, Here's a couple picture's of it I haven't even got it off the truck yet to look at it close. I'll let you know what else I find later, hehehe. I'm sorry I missed your call Duke I'll call you later. By the way it is tagged as a 784. Number 712087 makes it an '82.

I'll let you slide on missing my phone call this time seeing that you did miss it to go get a cub.

That looks pretty good maybe no up to Eric's standards but pretty good. Great save!

JR,

I have a couple sets of fenders around here. They are not perfect(would need atleast painted) but definitely usable. If you need one let me know.

That mght work, I'm going to have to do some painting on it anyway. I sent Rich an email about them I see what he says. I'm going to be going down this week sometime for a couple things if you need anything. Still haven't heard about the grill yet.

Mike, The trucks good, I have a buddy with an 18 mag running on one cylinder, I'm going to see if I can get it running right and stick it in it. The price is right, FREE! It doesn't look that good up close, LOL. But it's worth saving I think, being it's a 784 with the cast rear end. You'll have to stop over and take a look at it. Feel free to bring some parts with you when yo come ,hehehe.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
