Default K181 Engine Pics.

How's it going guys!!!

Well guys, here it is. The newly overhauled K181 Kohler engine. Now that I have the engine, now it's time to start putting the rest of it back onto the engine. I should have it done by tonight or so. I'll probably shoot a vid of the first fire up of the engine. But we'll see how everything goes. By the way, a big "Thank You" goes to my good buddy Vince for getting this engine ready for me. "Thanks Vince!!!" Well take care everyone!!!!

Hate to say it, but we're not even close to being finished. We had a minor set back. I'm lacking the correct Blower Housing that goes onto the 8hp Kohler engine. But I've already talk to Vince about it, and he's going to send me the part that I need. But all in all, we're still in good shape. I'll keep you guys posted on our progress. Take care good buddy!!!!

Hey how's it going everyone!!!!

Well we've got the engine installed onto the OL' Girl, but we're still lacking two parts to complete it before we can fire her up, which is the Fly Wheel and Blower Housing. Thankfully both parts are on there way and should be receiving them some time during the week. Once both parts arrive and are installed, we'll be ready to fire her up for the very first time. I'm pretty excited about this!!! I can't wait to be back behind the wheel of the OL' Girl!!!! I went ahead and took a few pics of the OL' Girl with the new engine installed. Hope you guys like them??? Well have a great night everyone and as always, I'll keep you guys posted on our progress. Take care everyone.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
