Default PTO bearing replacement
I have a 1980 782 with a front electric PTO. I want to replace the bearing only without buying all or part of the assembly.

Is this possible?

I have found the bearing number without the extended sleeve installed. Is it possible to press out the existing sleeve and install in the new bearing?

What is the replacement number if different than 6206du.

I replaced mine on my 1811 and had no problems. Placed a socket on it and did a light tap of the hammer and it came out. Sanded and cleaned the area then used loctite on it. I picked up a 6206 double sealed bearing from Grainger for about $17 and reused the insert.

Default Bearing replacement
Thanks for the info. A 17.00 bearing is a lot better than 175.00 for an armature.
