Default 682 Hydro Problem

Having a problem with my IH Cub Cadet 682. When you first start the tractor the hydro transmission is not real responsive. It will move very slow forward but does not want to back up much at all. After about 2 or 3 minutes of moving from forward to reverse it begins to be more responsive. I checked the oil level and it is full. It almost like the system needs to warm up some before it wants to move as it should. After about 5 minutes the tractor seem to be ok and moves forward and reverse as it should. Any ideas as to what might be the problem? Is there some type of adjustment that needs to be made to the hydro unit?

I would suggest fresh fluid and a new filter unless that is something you have done recently...

I drained and cleaned rear end and replaced filter and new Hytran fluid about 100 hours ago. I though there might be some type of adjusting screw I'm missing.

I repaired the worn notches and replaced the spring and the (2) pins about 2 years ago.

If it's been 100hrs, it's due for a new filter and fluid change. But, like a few others said sometimes they do that when cold.
