IH Trailers
Jay... I've seen a#5 at a RedPower Roundup but have not seen a#7 AFAIK. Maybe some around this part of Texas but I sure haven't seen/recognized them. The Model 2000 is just a later single axle version of the dual axle Model 7 and I have a 2000. Both versions have the same 2000 lb load rating.
There's nothing in any literature that I am aware of that even hints at three versions of the 1200. As fate would have it, I blindly collected three Model 1200 trailers for my Cub Cadet collection. It was when I began restoring the 1200's that I began to notice differences and that resulted in a lot of head banging research before I got it clear: A) IH assembled fm IH parts; B) Contractor assembled from mostly but not all IH parts; C) Contractor assembled from Contractor sourced parts. The foregoing I discovered is, in fact, reflected in the parts manuals if you know what the meanings are. At this point, I can do a visual walk around and tell you which version the Model 1200 trailer is.

Any trailer is better than the one I have.....when I got my 147 I had to pick up a trailer from Uhaul. It worked, wasn't that expensive, but I wish I had one that I didn't have to rent.
