I like it and it looks beefy!.
Does the 1" rod go into the drawbar? And does it have to slide on the plate due to the different pivot point arcs of the arms and rod? |

Yes the 1" rod goes into the drawbar. I was messing with it and it did not seem like the rod needed to move on the plate, but I agree that with more rotation it surely would. In this setup the rod is free to move in the drawbar (class 3 insert). The rod needed to be bent anyway, but since it is bent it can't move into the rockshaft or the drawbar as the bend stops it and it is captured by the 2. I think a better setup would be to Z bend the sidearms and weld (or bolt) them directly to the insert (or a reciever). the down side if it is welded you would probably have to pull a wheel to get it off. Next time I mess with it I will mark the rod and watch to see if it slides in reference to the drawbar

Double 07 - the rod does not seem to slide in the drawbar, they all move as a unit. I get to try it out on some real boats today - finally time to get the boats I store out of the barn and have some space to play in

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
