Hey that is not real far from me. I am about 17 miles east of State College. I have a 2072 that a PO had replaced the engine with a command 18. They did a real poor job of it but we have done a few fixes on it. Right now it is apart for rear repairs of gaskets and seals.

Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.

#10-149 with a 38inch deck.

Hello,
Your not very far from me. I still have my 1882 that I have don the conversion on. If you would like to look at it I would be more than happy to show you. My friend did all the wiring using the original connectors and it looks as factory as possible. PM me if you would like to do so.

When you do those engine swaps how much of the tin are you putting back? Do the commands cool better than the magnums?

Most important thing is the seal between the fire wall and the blower housing or they will recirculate hot air.

Comparing the two engines, I noticed that the ch20 has some cooling fins on the sides and bottom of engine cases (m18 doesnt have these)and mine has an oil cooler also, where the m18 only has the fins on the jugs.
My ch20 is still on the bench, getting a clean up so I haven't dealt with the tins fitting yet.
