Agreed. Those are all beautiful cubs. I'm thinking about doing a pink homesteader for my daughter since brother and I have all the yeller ones. Don't want her to miss out on the fun.

its my now 5 year old daughters tractor
she wasn't even 3 when I built it and she helped me and honestly I have less in that tractor than you would have tied up in a new power wheels plastic thing. she loves her tractor and she will let everyone know it is hers. |

Yeah......Maybe I will just give it a bath, adjust the clutch, and switch it back to push button start and call it good for a few years. the patina does kinda look nice.

I saw that pink 72 at a time when lots of ppl were buying those crappy electric cars for their kids.
My thought was wow- that's smart. My kids love to drive our 1650, mowing not so much. Kudos on the 72. Love the steel wheel one too- need a link on you making it. Michael |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
