copper pipe
what would be the downside of duplicating the center section in copper pipe? or brass. i
other than copper is so expensive? Have you tried Kubotas industrial engine division? I got my 882 head gasket from them.

Copper would probably crack from the vibration. It would also have to be well-insulated so the heat radiating off the head wouldn't heat up the coolant passing through the copper tube.
I googled the part number, and CCSpecialties and this place both appear to still have the hose...
