Default QA42A scraper blade

Hi all, I'm beginning to get the 1450 ready for the upcoming winter. Last spring I noticed the scraper blade was bent/bowed. I was afraid housing was bent also. After removing the blade it appears the housing isn't to bad however the blade is bent pretty bad. Amy of you replaced the blade? It looks like it's not available. I can probably straighten the blade but I'm afraid the strength will be lost and it wouldn't last long. How have you guys dealt with this?

A Machine shop could probably copy it close enough. Take it while it's still in one piece

That's what I did for the scraper on my snow blade in the past.

Sometimes, if they aren't too bad then they can be reversed and the other side used. You can also purchase another one, as was mentioned ....they are also on Ebay, etc..

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
